THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Monday is typically the day private golf clubs close their courses. Colonial Country Club recently did the opposite, opening its course to non-members every Monday through its new Member for a Day program. The member-owned club, private since it opened in 1958, will offer non-members access to the golf course every Monday. No member host is required.
