Front Desk Manager

First impressions are everything! High Point Country Club is now accepting applications for an outgoing people-person with strong communications skills and a fierce work ethic for our front desk reception area.
 
Position Details:
• Welcomes Members and Guests to the Club.  Directs Members and Guests to their destinations within the Club, provides business and concierge services to our Members, and informs Members and Guests of Club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities both in person and over the phone; communicates needs of members and guests to management
• Manages and updates the Club’s reservations system (member information, etc.). Keeps Food and Beverage staff informed on status of reservations.
• Maintains the lobby, front entrance, workstation, and other surrounding areas clean and free of debris. Ensures supplies that may be needed by Members/Guests are stocked    
• Answers the phone and ensures that all calls are appropriately answered or directed to the proper individual 
• Assists other teams and performs other tasks as required
• Adheres to all company, club, and department standards of operations, policies, and procedures whether written or verbal
• Conducts themselves professionally and respectfully
• Works safely

• Is open, flexible, and adaptable to take care of our Members and Guests’ changing needs
• Is ready to assume different responsibilities as needed and requested as an essential part of the job
• Has a Service oriented mindset and is capable of making every guest feel valued
• Has a can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional Member experience
• Has strong verbal, written, phone, text, and social media communication skills
• Works well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time
• Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Has a positive phone demeanor
• Is competent working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Is adaptable to new technology
• Has a positive attitude
• Is a multi-tasker, managing time effectively
 
Experience in hospitality business or a similar role is a plus.
