Westchester Country Day School, a PreK-12 college preparatory school located in High Point, NC, seeks an High School Academic Support Teacher starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must possess a Special Education degree and have experience interpreting educational-psychological evaluations, teaching students with learning differences, providing one-on-one and group academic support to 9th-12th grade students, and using formal and informal data collection techniques to support instructional practices. Responsibilities include: partnering with teachers to serve as the student advocate by closely monitoring each student’s progress, collaborating with students and families as requested/referred to assess learning difficulties and review and summarize psycho-educational evaluations, and remain current with professional development and research in areas relevant to learning differences, differentiation, and intervention.
