What does it take to meet your family’s basic needs? Find out by attending the finale of Triad Goodwill's, “What’s Behind the Worker Shortage?” series— Understanding the Reality of Scarcity: A Poverty Simulation, on Tuesday, July 30th from 11am-2pm. If you have not experienced poverty personally, it’s difficult to truly understand. Whether you have employees, co-workers, customers, or neighbors who live in poverty, this interactive simulation will give you insight into the structural barriers that nearly 1 out of 5 Guilford County residents face daily. Registration is required. Lunch will be provided. This event is possible due to the financial contributions of the Hayden-Harman Foundation, as well as community partnerships with Resilience High Point and United Way of Greater Greensboro.
