The Small Business Cetner at GTCC is a Resource Partner of Business High Point-Chamber of Commerce: The Interchange and a part of the Small Business Center Network in North Carolina.
The objective of the Small Business Center Network (SBCN) is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses in North Carolina by providing high quality, readily accessible assistance to prospective and existing small business owners which will lead to job creation and retention. Each Small Business Center (SBC) will be a community-based provider of education and training, counseling, referral and information.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
When the right people are recruited, the right people are retained. Recruitment and retention are significant issues facing nonprofit organizations today. It involves more than filling vacant positions on the Board. How can you find the "right" people with the right "fit" for your organization? This session will discuss the key strategies in identifying and retaining individuals whose skills and expertise align with your organization's goals to improve board development and sustainability.
