SummerSounds Concert Series is the High Point Arts Council’s 2026 summer outdoor concert series, offering free live music on Friday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Concerts take place throughout the summer in parks and across the City of High Point, the Town of Jamestown and in Centennial Station Arts Center, making live music accessible and enjoyable for the entire community. This season’s lineup features a diverse mix of musical genres, including reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz. Hwy 42 brings the best of classic country and rock to the stage, delivering crowd-favorite hits with energy and heart. Hailing from North Carolina’s Triad region, the band blends strong guitar leads, driving rhythms, and dynamic vocals to create a lively, dance-ready sound. Known for their engaging performances and occasional crowd participation, Hwy 42 keeps audiences on their feet with a nostalgic mix of music that’s sure to get everyone singing along.??
