SummerSounds Concert Series is the High Point Arts Council’s 2026 summer outdoor concert series, offering free live music on Friday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Concerts take place throughout the summer in parks and across the City of High Point, the Town of Jamestown and in Centennial Station Arts Center, making live music accessible and enjoyable for the entire community. This season’s lineup features a diverse mix of musical genres, including reggae, big band, Latin, and jazz. Gavin Maestro is a Greensboro, NC–based, award-winning producer whose work has reached audiences far beyond the Triad. A two-time Grammy winner for his contributions to Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé, Gavin has built an impressive résumé spanning artists like Keyshia Cole, Cam Anthony, Chris Blue, Leikeli47, and James Davis. His production work also extends to film and television, with music featured in series such as BMF, The Chi, and Raising Kanan. Known for crafting sound that adds emotional depth and atmosphere, Gavin Maestro delivers music with intention, energy, and a commitment to excellence that resonates with every audience.?? Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and relax under the evening sky. Food trucks will be on-site with food and beverages available for purchase; however, outside alcohol is not permitted. At each concert, attendees are invited to donate non-perishable food and household items to support A Simple Gesture, helping residents of Guilford County in need. The SummerSounds Concert Series is presented by the High Point Arts Council in partnership with High Point Parks & Recreation and Town of Jamestown’s Music in the Park, with support from sponsors including the City of High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina Arts Council, Arts Council of Greater Greensboro and the High Point Arts Council Arts Fund Donors.
