Come learn about the future of South Main Street! Plan South Main is an opportunity to help shape the future of one of High Point’s most important corridors. This initiative of the Southwest Renewal Foundation will help us create safer streets, more livable neighborhoods and better economic opportunity for all who live, work and learn in the South Main Street area, through better street design. We all live and work here, so we should all have a voice. Our design team will be working at the Homelegance studio the entire week of Nov. 3-7, from 9 am- 5 pm daily. All sessions are open to the public, so we can all be part of the vision. The design week wraps up with a progress presentation by the team on Friday, Nov. 7, from noon-1:30 pm. Lunch will be served. Also consider joining our Hands-On Design Workshop, on Nov. 4 from 5:30-8 pm (and enjoy a free community dinner with us!). You’ll have a chance to add your ideas, ask questions, and share ideas.
