Description
The Washington Street Unity Festival is a free, family-friendly event held on the historic Washington Street in High Point, NC—a once-thriving hub for the Black community known as “Black Wall Street” in the 1950s and 60s. The area, rich with Black-owned businesses, churches, and culture, is being brought back to life through community efforts. What began as a small neighborhood gathering has grown into a yearly celebration of pride, unity, and history. The festival features the theme of "Homecoming" with live music, food, art, and local talent, bringing neighbors together in the spirit of culture and connection. Join us for the 15th Annual Unity Festival to honor the past and celebrate a brighter future for Washington Street!
