SUMMARY:Working Wardrobe Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:We hope you will join us for the inaugural Working Wardrobe Luncheon\, which will be held on Wednesday\, March 5\, 2025\, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the High Point Country Club. As a new non-profit organization\, we view this luncheon is an important opportunity for us to community-build. We want to bring together service-oriented friends and neighbors to learn about the plight of clothing insecurity in our greater High Point community. We invite you to enjoy delicious food\, supportive friends\, and an enlightening talk by award-winning author and professor\, Dr. Renee Engeln of Northwestern University. She will help to explain the negative physical and psychological impacts of clothing insecurity\, as well as the importance of the work of clothing closets and resources such as Working Wardrobe. We are eager to share how Working Wardrobe is making a difference by helping to answer the call to providing clothing to women in need\, and hope you will enjoy our brief fashion show of models wearing styles pulled from our generously donated clothing collection.
