DESCRIPTION:PARTNERSHIP\n\nThe Small Business Cetner at GTCC is a Resource Partner of Business High Point-Chamber of Commerce: The Interchange and a part of the Small Business Center Network in North Carolina. \n\n\n\nThe objective of the Small Business Center Network (SBCN) is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses in North Carolina by providing high quality\, readily accessible assistance to prospective and existing small business owners which will lead to job creation and retention. Each Small Business Center (SBC) will be a community-based provider of education and training\, counseling\, referral and information.\n\n\n\nWORKSHOP DESCRIPTION\n\nIn this seminar\, NC Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will cover basic requirements to help North Carolina businesses understand the laws and obligations necessary to be a tax compliant business. Participants learn about filing and administrative requirements\, the basics of NC sales & use tax law\, the basics of NC withholding tax law\, step by step directions for completing sales tax and withholding returns\, and directions for filing and paying online.\n\nSpeaker(s):\n\nCo-Sponsor(s): NCDOR\n\nThis webinar will be presented via Webex platform. If you've never used Webex it will ask you to download onto your computer.
