DESCRIPTION:Leading Change on Local Boards\, a program offered through the Guilford Nonprofit Consortium\, is designed to meet the needs of new\, prospective\, and existing nonprofit board members to help maximize their impact in serving our community.\n\n\n\nParticipants in the seven-session program focus on relevant topics related to board service that can be put to immediate use. \n\n\n\nProgram participants will leave the Leading Change on Local Boards workshop with:\n\n  Practical knowledge and best practices to strengthen the governance of nonprofit organizations\n\n  New connections to local experts in key aspects of nonprofit board service\n\n  New relationships and a network of peers who are interested in board service and committed to the success of local nonprofit organizations\n\n  Resources that can be used today and referred to in the future as you continue to learn and grow as board leaders\n\n\n\nProgram Questions?
