DESCRIPTION:Mastering I9s and Immigration PLUS I9 Audit Party - The UCIS form I-9 was developed to help employers verify the identity and employment authorization of each person they hire. Even though it may seem like a simple form\, and compliance seems straight forward\, it is a maze of obstacles that can expose employers to large fines and penalties for hiring unauthorized workers\, as well as fines for simply committing paperwork violations on authorized workers. In this class we will discuss the most updated information we have about immigration in the US\, as well as form I9.  After class members of ALT HR will be on hand for an additional hour to help you audit your I9s\, or show you how! We will bring the red pens\, audit forms and snacks\, you bring your I9s and questions!\n\n\n\nFacilitation will be conducted by AltHR Partners\n\n\n\n\n\n \nEmpower Hour is a 1 hour session for leaders\, entrepreneurs\, innovators and even nonprofit professionals!
